© 2018, © American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Foundation 2018. Women otolaryngologists face issues that interfere with their wellness on a regular basis. Over the course of my career—in positions of leadership in academic practice and at the Academy’s Board of Governors and Women in Otolaryngology Section and as past president of the AAO-HNS/F—I have had experiences and observations that I feel can help move the needle forward on these very important conversations.
