Abstract

This poster evaluates the feasibility and safety of early high-intensity treadmill training for acute CVA patients in a hospital setting. A study of 14 patients showed significant improvements in ambulation distance, AMPAC scores, and gait speed, with no adverse events. This approach offers clinically meaningful functional gains, supporting its potential as an early intervention.
