Description

In 1927, the United States Marine Hospital began to train physician residents in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Pediatrics. As pictured here from 1936, a pediatric nurse creates a safe environment for one of our youngest patients. Today our services are still designed with kids in mind. We have extensive experience in a broad range of specialties, including pediatric surgery, urology, pulmonology, cardiology and anesthesiology. Our pediatric care is offered in settings including a children's emergency center, intensive care units, an inpatient unit, nursery, and various ambulatory sites.
