Abstract
Patient satisfaction is a crucial measure of healthcare performance, and studies indicate a positive link between organizational culture and customer satisfaction. Research by Greenslade and Jimmieson highlights that an organizational climate focused on service can enhance performance and patient satisfaction. Tzeng et al. found that a strong culture, effective communication, and shared values contribute to both job and patient satisfaction, while Gillespie et al. suggest that an empowering culture aligned with the organization’s mission boosts satisfaction. To explore the connection between employee engagement and patient satisfaction, it’s essential to review engagement surveys, collaborate on improvement plans, and actively involve staff in decision-making through open communication, team-building events, and feedback mechanisms. Regular monitoring, such as pulse surveys and patient satisfaction assessments, along with leadership visibility and open-door policies, fosters accountability and continuous improvement.
