Abstract
This poster advocates for discontinuing routine supplemental oxygen for normoxic myocardial infarction patients due to evidence showing no benefit and potential harm. The proposed implementation at NSUH ED will focus on providing oxygen only when clinically indicated, supported by comprehensive staff education and updated protocols. This evidence-based practice aims to improve patient outcomes, reduce adverse events, and optimize resource use, with ongoing evaluation of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning.
