Abstract

To improve patient experience and satisfaction purposeful hourly rounding, centered on the question "What matters to you most today?". The project aimed to increase the unit's top-box score for nurse hourly rounding from 75% to 80% within 10 months. Interventions included using the CIPHER rounding tool, in-room signage, discharge surveys, and follow-up phone calls. Following implementation, the unit saw an increase from 75% in Q1 to 81.8% in Q4, exceeding the target and demonstrating measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and individualized care.
