Abstract

North Shore University Hospital, uniquely operating a centralized crash cart depot, sought to improve utilization management. They implemented a RedCap tracker with a 13-point survey to capture data on crash cart deliveries. Initial findings from August 2025 showed 178 deliveries (averaging 6 per day) to 38 different units, identifying the top 5 high-volume units. This data is crucial to ensure adequate crash cart availability for emergent patient care needs.
