Abstract
Uncontrolled meal times led to increased glycemic events in diabetic patients who were eleigible for Conceierge Dining Services. To address this, the unit collaborated with Dietary Services to establish standardized meal delivery times (8:30 am, 12:15 pm, 5:30 pm) for diabetic patients, along with daily patient tracking and staff education. As of September 2025, the unit is on track to meet its goal of a 5-10% reduction, showing significant decreases from 5 to 1 monthly hypoglycemia events and from 11 to 7 monthly hyperglycemia events.
