Description
The Ocean Breeze campus foundation rises with the picturesque Verrazano Bridge standing guard, behind. In the early 1970s, the construction of a new modern building gave the citizens of Staten Island a well-equipped hospital with 442 beds and advanced medical equipment. The expansion at the Ocean Breeze site continued after the opening of the main campus and along Seaview Avenue.
