Abstract
This poster presents a rehabilitation protocol for patients with Disorders of Consciousness (DoC) who are mechanically ventilated in acute care. Recognizing a critical gap in early stimulation due to transfer ineligibility, the initiative evaluates the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of using a tilt table combined with multisensory stimulation. The primary goal is to improve consciousness outcomes, measured by the Coma Recovery Scale-Revised, with secondary aims of successful ventilator weaning, progressive mobility, and increased discharge to inpatient rehabilitation. The intervention offers a feasible and well-tolerated approach to address these crucial rehabilitation needs.
